Cookies & Local Storage

Last updated · June 11, 2026
This is a working draft prepared by the LOUDROW team. It is not yet a final legal document and may change before launch. For binding legal matters, please consult a qualified lawyer.

1. The short version

LOUDROW stores a small, fixed set of functional dataon your device: enough to keep you signed in, remember your language, and remember your theme. That's it.

  • No advertising cookies. We show no ads and have no ad partners.
  • No analytics trackers. We currently run no behavioral analytics.
  • No data sales, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

Because everything we store is strictly necessaryfor features you asked for (signing in, choosing a language), privacy laws such as the LGPD and GDPR do not require a consent banner for it — which is why you don't see one.

2. Exactly what we store

Cookies

  • Locale preference (pitpass_locale) — your EN / PT-BR choice, so pages render in your language. Lifetime: 1 year. Set only when you use the language toggle.

Local storage & IndexedDB

  • Sign-in session — Firebase Authentication keeps your session tokens in your browser's IndexedDB/local storage so you stay signed in between visits. Cleared when you sign out.
  • Theme — your light/dark choice.
  • Magic-link email — when you request an email sign-in link, your address is held locally until the link is opened, then cleared. It never leaves your device for this purpose.
  • Locale mirror — a copy of the language preference.

Infrastructure

Our host (Vercel) and backend (Google Firebase) may process standard connection data — IP address, device and browser type — to deliver pages, secure the service, and prevent abuse. This is service delivery, not advertising. See the Privacy Policy for processor details.

3. Google services

LOUDROW uses Google Firebase for sign-in, database, and photo storage. When you use the site, Firebase processes the technical data above to provide those functions. We do not use Google advertising products, Google Analytics, or any Google service that profiles you for marketing.

4. Advertising ("ad choices")

Other music sites ask you to consent to data sharing with hundreds or thousands of ad partners. LOUDROW has zero. There are no ads on the service, no third-party ad cookies, and no behavioral profiles. There is therefore nothing to opt out of.

If we ever introduce advertising, we commit to doing it in this order: update this page, ask for consent first, and ship real ad-choice controls — before a single ad cookie is set.

5. Analytics

We currently run no analytics. If we add any, we will prefer aggregate, privacy-respecting measurement, and this page will be updated before it goes live.

6. Managing storage

  • Your browser can list, block, or delete cookies and site data at any time (usually under Settings → Privacy).
  • Clearing LOUDROW's data signs you out and resets your language and theme — nothing else is lost; your account lives on our servers.
  • Blocking all storage will break sign-in; logged-out browsing keeps working.
